How to Become Brilliant

I wanted to take the time to show you how to become brilliant. A lot of people are looking to increase their IQ. Obviously, most people assume that you pick up a book and start reading. If it was really that easy, than all of us would be certified geniuses. The fact is that there is a technique to the process. When I first got to university, I assumed I was a smart guy, but I learned very fast that I wasn't. I tried my best to study and get the best possible grades, but I just couldn't beat out people. I eventually learned that I was doing it wrong. I'm going to show you how to become brilliant.

There is more to studying than work, it's all about how much you absorb. I'm sure you've read a page in a book, got the bottom and realized you don't know what you just read. It happens to all of us, but it illustrates a point. That is what most people's studies habits are like. It isn't as extreme as not remembering anything, but they'll study and only remember 20% of it. That really isn't enough to raise your IQ any.

When it comes to how to become brilliant, you have to turn your focus into a laser beam. See, the reason people don't absorb things is due to the fact that they're doing other things at the same time. They're listening to music, they talk on their instant messenger and it just distracts the whole process. If you do one thing at a time, you'll absorb far more information.
